All hardware drivers & accompanied software Software ready to be re-installed (Windows, MS Office, Games, etc. etc.) Backed-up all important documents, software and files Support from friends/family (So that you got somebody to blame if it doesn't work) Permission from owner Sure that it's the best solution A lot of free time Software installation skills Serial numbers for software
